ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
The College of Nursing Sciences offers two accredited and professionally recognized programmes designed to produce competent, polyvalent nurses equipped for diverse health care settings:

ND/HND Nursing Programme (4-Year Duration) Available at both Ile-Ife and Ilesa campuses, this programme is structured to provide foundational and advanced training in nursing sciences. Admission is through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), followed by internal selection via a Post-UTME screening exercise. Upon successful completion of the programme, students are awarded multiple professional and academic qualifications including:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Midwife (RM)
- Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN)
- Higher National Diploma (HND)in Nursing
- Perioperative Nursing Programme (12-Month Duration) Offer exclusively at the Ile-Ife campus (IHU), this specialized programme is designed for qualified Registered Nurses (RN) seeking to advance their expertise in surgical nursing and perioperative care. The curriculum includes intensive clinical rotations, theoretical modules, and hands-on theatre procedures aligned with global best practices. On completion, graduates are certified as Perioperative Nurses, enabling them to serve effectively in operating theatres, surgical units, and emergency care departments
